Leading regional procurement specialist and the procurement arm of social housing consortium Efficiency North, EN:Procure, has revealed the winning 27 contractors for its latest £700m new build housing framework, which includes Wiggett Construction. The selected contractors will carry out work covering all aspects of new build housing, including design, site preparation and remediation, civil engineering and infrastructure works, and new build construction and refurbishment.

We had the pleasure of giving Level 3 Joiners from Wigan & Leigh College some valuable work experience at our Priory Road site in Wigan, regarding how sites are set up, site rules, DAB, TBT, site inductions and a tour of plots during various stages of construction. Site Manager Natalie Hall was impressed by their engagement in group discussion and we look forward to their return for some practical onsite work experience in the weeks ahead. Wiggett Construction has begun work on Wigan Council backed affordable and environmentally friendly housing site at Priory Road, Bryn. Works are underway with development of six bungalows to help tackle the shortage of adaptable homes for residents with additional needs.
