Celebrating 40 Years of The Wiggett Group

The Wiggett Group celebrates 40 years of successful business this summer. The Group was founded by managing director, Phil Wiggett, in 1979; and in this time has survived three recessions, built circa 4,000 homes and recorded a turnover of over £20 million. The company primarily works across the North West of England and has become a trusted, family run traditional build business with a 30-strong team of dedicated staff members.

Phil, who retires this year, will hand the reins to his son, Samuel a Quantity Surveyor and daughter, Jennifer a Chartered Building Surveyor, who plan to increase the number of private sales and continue to grow the business, as well as maintaining and developing the role of construction partner, via Wiggett Construction, with housing associations locally.

The Wiggett Group would like to thank the hard-working staff, loyal customer base and sub-contractors for the many years of support and look forward to a further 40 years of successful business.

In the construction pipe-line for 2019/20, Wiggett Homes has a second phase of 23 properties planned at The Spindles development in Westhoughton, a new site with 18 homes in Macclesfield and two sites in Greenfield, Saddleworth providing 50 homes.
